Oliseed Equipment - Magnet

Drum-type magnets are recommended at the beginning of the process to remove any foreign material made of metal to prevent damage to the downstream equipment. Material enters the top of the unit, flows across the side of the rotating drum, and then discharges out the bottom of the unit. A stationary magnet inside the material side of the drum attracts the metal from the material stream and rotates the metal to the other side of the drum where there is no magnet. The metal is released and drops through a chute.
